From March to July, AVSI staff from all over the world will be involved in drafting the organization’s Strategic Guidelines for the next five years (2024-2028). A shared process that starts from the lessons learned on the field and the insights from the Learning Event held on October 26, 2022 “Beyond development, the future we want”.
The 2023 Regional Annual Meetings are the main occasions to share ideas and work together in this process.
7 meetings have been held in the 7 geographical areas we work in, to discuss about cooperation sectors.

In July, in Milan, area and sector leaders met to discuss the drafts elaborated and ideas emerged during the meetings. By December 2023, the Strategic Guidelines that will shape the work of our organization over the next five years will be defined.
The future we want is one where everyone can live in cohesive societies, in communities where the strong protect the weak, citizens work with governments for the good of all, people care about each other. Where apathy, individualism and indifference are not at home.
