AVSI Polska carries out its work in several areas, among which
- training projects oriented to activate and increase the qualifications of employed and unemployed personnel
- activities to promote human capital and local entrepreneurship, with the perspective of helping local actors to become the protagonists of their own development path
- projects in the cultural, artistic and sports fields
- Distance support
Management of emergency situations. Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, AVSI Polska together with AVSI Foundation has organized emergency interventions in the border areas and arrival posts of Ukrainian refugees in Poland, supported by Caritas SPES in Lviv, Caritas Lublin and the local administrations of Chełm Municipality, Powiat of Węgrów, Wągrowiec Municipality, Liw Municipality, Margonin Municipality, as well as companies and individuals.
AVSI Polska was also the promoter of the humanitarian aid initiative called: "Italian Solidarity in Poland." Together with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Poland and the Dante Alighieri Society of Warsaw, a Crisis Committee was formed to manage this emergency and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the three organizations.
This initiative received the High Patronage of MP Grzegorz Piechowiak, president of the Polish-Italian Parliamentary Group, Commendatore of the Italian Republic.
