Corrado Čok is the Project Manager for Somalia at AVSI Foundation. He joined the organisation in February 2022 with experience in the humanitarian and migration sector in the Horn of Africa region as he worked with Caritas in Djibouti before. Between 2018 and 2020, Corrado Čok worked in Brussels on several projects concerning conflict analysis and resolution with two NGOs, namely Independent Diplomat and the International Crisis Group (ICG). Besides, Corrado is a freelancer analyst on the Persian Gulf and the Horn of Africa, collaborating mainly with the risk consultancy Gulf State Analytics and contributing with articles to numerous media outlets, including TRT World, Al Arabiya, The New Arab, Fair Observer, the Middle East Institute and LIMES. He is fluent in Italian, English and French and has reached an intermediate level in Arabic. Corrado Čok holds two master's degrees in development management and conflict resolution.
