"We arrived at the camp of Marj el Khokh because here is where my husband found work and where our relatives already were”, the family of Abed El Hussein fled from Syria to Lebanon.

In a video, the story of 7-year-old Hassan, the eldest son of four child, with his family fleeing to Lebanon, after the killing of a close relatives.

AVSI Foundation is working on basic education activities for refugee children. The educational program is funded by the European Union through UNICEF and implemented by AVSI. It aims to help 97,000 Lebanese and Syrian children in 320 public schools. In addition, 35,000 children, Lebanese and Syrians, will be helped in order to bring them back to school. In total, 62,000 children have gained access to informal education.
