The project aims at reaching four main goals:

  • To improve local SMEs’ ability to enhance raw material (Partner Federlegno Arredi will send experts from Italy to Ivory Coast to provide training)
  • To improve the operators’ overall understanding of international market needs and to enhance producers-custumers relationship in order to counterillegal deforestation.
  • Provide visibility to the project and share results and lessons learned.

In may 2017 four carpenters, three men and a woman, traveled to Milan to take part in a training held by Federlegno
