AVSI/MOZ/AICS/011387/ITA-1850/2024-01 REQUEST FOR TENDER PERFORMANCE OF THE REMEDIAL WORKS ON THE HYBRID PV-DIESEL MINI-GRID

AVSI Foundation is engaged, together with the FUNAE, in a project funded by a the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation aimed at improving access to renewable energy sources in the province of Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. More specifically, the project started in 2019 and ended in August 2022 with the objective to promote local development and women empowerment in Cabo Delgado Province through the improvement of access to renewable energy sources. The strategy was articulated with a local integrated approach in which energy is the means to build economic, environmental, and social sustainability. The project included the installation of a minigrid, a collective system of electricity production with solar photovoltaic panels in the locality of Mpaca, Balama District, in Cabo Delgado. The scope of the work entails the correct functioning of the Mini-grid in all its parts in accordance with the Technical specifications described in this Request for Tender. AVSI Foundation invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the realization of the remedial works described in the attached ITT and related documents.
