AVSI/DRC/ENRU/ELECT/2024-01 REPLACEMENT OF THE BESS AND OF THE CONVERSION SYSTEM OF 100 kWp STAND-ALONE SOLAR-PV MINI-GRID
AVSI Foundation is engaged, together with the Congolese Ministry of Environment and sustainable development (MEDD), in a project funded by MASE- Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, aimed at improving access to renewable energy sources in the province of South-Kivu, DRC. The project started in 2019 with the objective to promote local development and women empowerment in Kashara-Kimomo villages through the improvement of access to renewable energy sources. The strategy was articulated with a local integrated approach in which energy is the means to build economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
The project included the installation of a mini-grid, a collective system of electricity production with solar photovoltaic panels and a hydro unit in the locality of Kashara-Kimomo villages in the province of South-Kivu, DRC. The scope of the work entails the correct functioning of the mini-grid in all its parts in accordance with the Technical Specifications described in this Request for Tender.
AVSI Foundation invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the realization of the remedial works described in the attached ITT and related documents.
