Concept paper on capacity building for OVC care
“AVSI has found that both concepts of impact and sustainability are linked in the theory of capacity and the approach of capacity building of local entities and individuals as a mechanism for promoting development. Rather than present a theory of capacity building in the abstract, this paper will address the topic starting from AVSI’s experience with orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) in East Africa”.
