10 subsidiarity projects implemented by the licensed bodies in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, have been approved and funded by CAI.
The initiative, now in its third year, covers activities in favour of early mothers, street children, minors with health and education problems, to be implemented in 2004 and 2005. Allocated funds total one million and 32 thousands Eur, as set out by tender no. 138. Out of the approved projects, 4 will be implemented in Eastern Europe, 1 in Asia, 3 in South America and 2 in Africa.
AVSI is going to coordinate in Lithuania, the project “Prevention of minors’ neglect and improvement of the social reintegration of children in difficult conditions”, in collaboration with SOTAS, a local NGO, and with AMU, La Primogenita and Adozioni Alfabeto.
